Mass Rescue Operations

The DHS Science and Technology Directorate is partnering with the United States Coast Guard to develop a mass rescue device that will ensure more survivors are rescued during search and rescue operations at sea.

The desired end product will be a nonstandard innovative, large-capacity, ultralightweight floating device that could be deployed from air and surface assets during mass rescue operations in offshore scenarios.
