Human-Teaming in UAS Operations

This white paper introduces a modular Autonomous Safety Agent (ASA) framework for Uncrewed Aircraft Systems (UAS), designed to detect and respond to operational and cybersecurity threats in real time. It advocates for human-machine teaming to enhance aviation safety and aligns with FAA, DoD, and NDAA priorities. The paper addresses gaps in current UAS training and proposes scalable, ethical deployment pathways for national airspace modernization.
