Semiannual Report to the Congress

This Semiannual Report to Congress covers the oversight activities of the Office of Inspector General (OIG) for the Department of State (Department) and the U.S. Agency for Global Media (USAGM) from October 1, 2022, to March 31, 2023.

OIG is responsible for the oversight of more than $84 billion in Department and USAGM programs and operations and also provides oversight for the U.S. International Boundary and Water Commission, United States and Mexico (USIBWC), a federal agency operating under the foreign policy guidance of the Department.
